Impact Marketing and Management, Inc. was founded in 1997 by R. Bruce Van Meter.

Bruce received a Bachelor of Science degree in Animal Science from the University of Georgia in 1990 followed by a Master of Science degree in Beef Cattle Reproductive Physiology from the University of Georgia in 1994. Following a 3 year period of service as the Assistant Superintendent at the UGA Experiment Station in Calhoun, GA, Bruce decided to enter the private sector as a marketing and management consultant for beef cattle operations across the US and Impact Marketing and Management, Inc. (I.M.M., Inc.) was formed.

Today I.M.M., Inc. is a multi-faceted operation working with registered seedstock producers as well as commercial cattlemen across the globe. Cattle, semen and embryos have been marketed in over 40 US states, Canada, Mexico, South America, Europe and Asia. The success of I.M.M., Inc. can be attributed to many factors but none more so than attention to detail as well as honesty and fairness in every transaction. In addition to the many activities of I.M.M., Inc., Bruce operates his own Registered Simmental, Simbrah, SimAngus and Angus herd under the name Select Cattle Enterprises and has been a registered seedstock producer since 1981.

Bruce is a widower with 3 sons, Little Bruce, Gabe, and Eli.
